Fiscal Grants Analyst

The Talent Shop is seeking a Grant Fiscal Analyst for a Buffalo-based organization. This role supports the accurate and timely administration of grant-funded programs. Working with the finance team, you’ll review funding requests, track contracts and budgets, and coordinate with internal departments and external partners.

What you’ll do Review and process internal and external funding encumbrances, change orders, and draw requests.

Track contracts and monitor available balances for assigned grant funds.

Use financial systems and applications to maintain accurate records and support compliance.

Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve questions and keep requests moving.

Manage day-to-day work independently with sound judgment and close attention to detail.

What you’ll bringA bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, with two years of grant management experience preferred; orAn associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, with four years of grant management experience preferred.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Microsoft Excel proficiency is strongly preferred.

Residency requirement:
The person hired must establish residency within the City of Buffalo within 90 days of starting and maintain it throughout employment.
