Under the direction of the assigned Supervisor or Manager of Patient Financial Services, perform activities including billing and follow-up on denied and underpaid claims. Secure expected reimbursement from all responsible payers, apply contractual allowances, generate appeals and assign self-payment responsibility.

HS - High School Diploma or GED required.

2 years of Patient Financial Services Billing Experience or two years medical billing experience in a hospital and/or physician environment or equivalent combination of recent billing certification and experience required. Data Entry Alpha Numeric (Hard Copy) and Microsoft Excel 2000
- Normal User Skills Test Required.
