Lead Housekeeper

We are hiring a full-time Lead Housekeeper on the day shift to help clean and maintain a convent home for elder Franciscan sisters in Buffalo, NY (located on Doat Street/Pine Ridge, near the Villa Maria College campus).

• Working 40 hours per week (7:00 am - 3:30 pm), Monday through Friday.

• The hourly range for this position is $17.48 - $23.65 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.

The Lead Housekeeper assists the Facility Manager in the oversight of the housekeeping staff and ensures that the daily housekeeping duties are satisfactorily completed. The Lead Housekeeper also performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms in addition to vacuuming and cleaning floors.

• Minimum of two (2) years of housekeeping/cleaning experience in an institutional, commercial, or environmental setting
• Supervisory experience preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
