As a speech-language pathologist, you will provide evidence‑based therapy to children with diverse diagnoses, including ASD, cerebral palsy, and Down Syndrome. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical, occupational, and music therapists, is essential.
- Interpret and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and adapt therapy accordingly.
- Educate families and care teams on therapy strategies and AAC devices.
- Maintain timely documentation of services and progress.
- Participate in meetings, training, and community events.
- Master’s degree.
- NY State license.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience, with feeding experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Includes lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, and moving in a classroom setting.
