** Overview
* * The Pharmacy Technician position, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, will assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of the pharmacist.#
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or GED required. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
* One (1) year of experience working in a high-volume pharmacy or equivalent setting required.
* Ability to lift 40lbs.
* Experience working with online claims processing system preferred.
* Effective oral and written communication skills and an aptitude for working with other health care professionals.

** Essential Accountabilities
*** Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of the pharmacist.
* Maintain patient records.
* Set up, package, and label medication doses.
* Perform designated tasks regarding processing of equipment and supply orders, and preparation of sterile products.
* Package and ship medications.
* Setup and optimization of delivery routes.
* Maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical safety hazards and drug handling.
* Notify Pharmacist staff of dispensing, storage, packaging, and/or related issues.
* Proper rotation of stock, supplies, packaging materials, and shipping supplies.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the registered and packaging space.
* Must function in strict accordance with standard, written procedures and guidelines with deviation approved by the supervising pharmacist.

** Hiring Compensation Range: $20.50 - $21.50 hourly
* Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.
* In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
