- Perform high‑quality MRI procedures following established protocols
- Ensure strict compliance with MRI safety guidelines
- Start IV lines and administer contrast using proper technique
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about procedures
- Collect patient medical history and complete accurate documentation
- Enter, verify, and maintain data in RIS and PACS systems
- Confirm exam orders prior to imaging
- Monitor patient comfort, safety, and medical needs throughout visits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked MRI department
- Support fellow technologists and contribute to a positive team environment
- High School Diploma
- Graduate of an ARRT‑approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT MRI Certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
- New York State Radiologic Technology License with Injection
- CPR Certification
- Two or more years of MRI experience preferred, but not required
- Enjoy building rapport with patients and easing their concerns
- Take pride in accuracy, quality imaging, and patient safety
- Communicate clearly and work well with a team
- Are adaptable, positive, and eager to learn
- Want to be part of a workplace where your work truly matters
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Standing, walking, and computer use for extended periods
- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment
