Position SummaryThe Clinical Practice Coordinator reports directly to the Sr. Clinical Operations Manager and supports operational enhancements across assigned UBMD practices, ensuring coordinated and high‑quality patient care. This role serves as a vital link among physicians, residents, patients, and administrative teams. The Clinical Practice Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, improving workflows, strengthening operational performance, and advancing UBMD’s mission of excellence.
Key Responsibilities Practice Operations & Workflow Optimization- Facilitate operational collaboration across assigned practices under the direction of the Sr. Clinical Operations Manager
- Analyze and streamline workflows to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure timely patient/provider scheduling, visit documentation, and data management
- Partner with practice leaders to ensure strong performance and foster a culture of accountability and support
- Lead on‑site practice meetings in collaboration with department supervisors
- Participate in clinical staff recruitment and trainee education, including orientation and training on operations and documentation standards
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, federal regulations, and other applicable institutional standards
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of patient data through accurate documentation and quality oversight
- Represent the department in cross‑functional committees and institutional meetings related to clinical operations and compliance
- Oversee internal department EPIC projects
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement efforts across assigned practices
- Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to evolving operational needs
- Degree in healthcare operations, business, or related field required
- 3+ years of management experience in a clinical healthcare setting
- Professional, adaptable approach with a strong commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and trainees in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment
