HR Coordinator

Our client in Buffalo, NY, is looking for a contract HR Coordinator
to join their team!

This is onsite/full-time/3-6 month contract position.

Hourly based on experience: $23-$25/HR

Primary Responsibilities:

• Screens applicants based on job description and departmental needs.
• Schedule and attend all in-person and virtual interviews to ensure compliance.
• Process background checks through the background check provider platform.
• Process onboarding for new hires and compile all new hire paperwork.
• Conduct new hire orientations on new employees' first day.
• Coordinate the performance review process.
• Send new hire bios on the new employees' first day.
• Prepare and send birthday announcements.
• Process employee perk raffle prizes.
• Manage the company merch inventory.
• Assist the HR Generalist with payroll and 401 (k) functions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related area.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to problem-solve and seek resolution to issues as they arise.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to research and analyze information to be applied to situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite:
  Outlook, Word, Excel, and HRS systems.
