About the role
As an Oracle ERP Cloud Technical Consultant, you will make an impact by delivering high‑quality Oracle solutions across multiple modules, ensuring seamless integrations, data migration, and successful end‑to‑end implementations. You will be part of our Oracle Solutions Practice and work collaboratively with project managers, functional leads, architects to support complex transformation programs.
In this role, you willDesign and implement scalable solutions using Oracle Cloud ERP to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle BI Publisher and XML Publisher tools.
Design, build, and support integrations using Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP services, FBDI, file‑based integrations, and OIC/middleware tools.
Develop and maintain OTBI dashboards, BI Publisher reports, data models, and custom reporting solutions.
Execute data conversion and migration activities using FBDI and ADFDI templates, ensuring data accuracy and financial governance compliance.
Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, go‑live preparation, and hypercare support, ensuring smooth deployment and stabilization.
Produce high‑quality deliverables including FDDs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and documentation.
Strong functional and technical expertise across any Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FAH, FA).
Demonstrate expertise in OTBI SQL Oracle Cloud ERP Oracle BI Publisher XML Publisher and PL/SQL.
Hands‑on experience delivering integrations using REST, SOAP, OIC, and file‑based interfaces.
Solid knowledge of data migration processes using FBDI/ADFDI and financial data structures.
Ability to interpret financial accounting processes and apply best practices in Oracle ERP Cloud.
Display strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical specifications.

WorkingArrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Buffalo, NY. Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $112,500 – 132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
