Position: Digital Marketing Strategist (Organic)

We are a leading digital marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses thrive in the competitive online landscape specializing in creating impactful digital marketing campaigns that drive results and deliver measurable ROI for our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Strategist.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist at Cypress North, you'll be responsible for leading and executing SEO strategies to meet client goals on time and working closely with managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead weekly and bi-weekly client calls to drive strategy discussions and updates.
  • Optimize website content, title tags, meta descriptions, and other on-page elements for improved search visibility.
  • Identify technical SEO issues affecting crawlability and collaborate with developers to implement a fix.
  • Identify relevant keywords, assess search volume, and create content strategies to address gaps.
  • Collaborate with content writers to develop SEO‑friendly blog posts, webpages, and more.
  • Continuously monitor SEO performance, adapting strategies based on algorithm updates and best practices.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on SEO performance, providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Train and support team members and interns on SEO strategies and tools.
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to assess technical, on-page, and off-page SEO elements.
Successful Digital Marketing Strategists will:
  • Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools to analyze and report on organic traffic performance.
  • Use tools such as Semrush, Google Ads Keyword Planner, Spyfu, etc. to conduct keyword research.
  • Display strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain strategies and results to clients.
  • Monitor the latest changes in the industry including search engine algorithm changes, and will notify the team or client who might be impacted.
  • Assist with launching new websites (implementing redirects, optimizing site content and title tags/meta descriptions, monitoring organic traffic post‑launch).
  • Lead and identify new client opportunities, expand account scope, and collaborate with managers on strategy.
  • Monitor local search optimization and understand Google Business Profiles, Apple Maps, etc. a plus.
  • Have a familiarity with Screaming Frog (a plus).
  • Have a familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like Word Press or Shopify a plus.
Qualifications

4+ years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on SEO strategy, content optimization, and client communication.
