• Move testing earlier in the development cycle to identify issues sooner (shift left)
• Design and implement LLM-assisted manual testing frameworks that generate and maintain test scripts.
• Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans for ERP systems and web-based applications, validating critical business workflows, and data integrity.
• Develop detailed test case libraries, procedures, and documentation ensuring replicability and compliance with organizational quality standards.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders, facilitating test sessions, and consolidating results into production readiness recommendations.
• Establish QA standards for AI-generated test coverage, ensuring LLM outputs meet organizational quality thresholds.
• Mentor QA team members on manual and automation testing techniques, defect investigation methods, and enterprise system domain knowledge through hands-on coaching.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent QA experience)
• 10+ years software quality assurance experience with 2+ years in lead or senior testing role
• 3+ years hands-on experience with enterprise systems testing (SAP, People Soft, Service Now, or similar ERP platforms)
• Demonstrated expertise in manual testing methodologies
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management systems (JIRA with Zephyr Scale or similar)
• 1+ years applying AI/LLM technologies to QA workflows (test generation, defect analysis, knowledge management)
• Well-versed in prompt engineering building AI-assisted testing procedures with human validation oversight
• Proven ability to mentor team members, establish quality standards, and balance AI assistance with manual testing rigor where correctness is critical

• Utility industry domain knowledge (billing systems, meter data management, customer information systems, regulatory compliance)
• Test automation skills with performance testing tools (Load Runner, JMeter), API testing frameworks (Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab) and version control (Git) in testing contexts
• Demonstrated expertise in test automation frameworks (Test Complete, Selenium, or equivalent)

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 – $130,000.

National Fuel’s pay notice describes the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills.

The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
