This role combines large-scale data center operations leadership with deep technical infrastructure expertise to deliver reliable, high-performance compute environments that power the next generation of advanced compute workloads. The focus is on leading multi-site operational teams while ensuring hyperscale infrastructure operates with the highest levels of reliability, efficiency, and security.

As the organization continues to expand its global data center footprint, it is hiring a Site Manager to lead operational execution across multiple facilities. This is a high-impact leadership role suited to someone who can scale teams, drive operational excellence, and manage the full lifecycle of mission-critical infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure 24x7x365 operations meet stringent service level commitments while enabling rapid infrastructure growth.

Role

You will lead and develop a multi-disciplinary operations team responsible for managing hyperscale data center environments across a campus or regional footprint. From workforce planning and operational performance to incident management and infrastructure reliability, you will ensure facilities operate efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of uptime and safety. This role blends people leadership with operational strategy, ensuring infrastructure operations directly support business and customer outcomes.

What

You’ll Do
  • Lead and scale operations teams including Facility Managers, Operations Technicians, and Logistics Specialists across multiple data center sites
  • Hire, coach, and develop high-performing teams through structured performance management, mentoring, and career development
  • Define staffing plans and organizational structures to support growth through workforce forecasting, resource planning, and succession management
  • Own end-to-end operational accountability for uptime, reliability, and security across 24x7x365 mission-critical infrastructure
  • Oversee incident response, escalation management, and change control processes across multiple facilities
  • Manage ticket queues, operational workflows, shift scheduling, and on-call rotations across technical and logistics teams
  • Monitor and improve operational KPIs including uptime, MTTR, MTBF, capacity utilization, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency
  • Lead post-incident reviews, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to strengthen operational resilience
  • Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Construction, and Product teams to align infrastructure operations with business priorities
  • Drive operational improvements, automation initiatives, safety programs, and sustainability efforts across facilities
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience in data center operations, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure environments
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more technical staff within 24x7 operational environments
  • Deep understanding of data center infrastructure including power distribution, cooling systems, server hardware, networking, and facility operations
  • Experience managing uptime and reliability within environments governed by strict service level agreements
  • Strong knowledge of incident management, change management, and operational excellence frameworks
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, and program management functions
  • Data-driven decision making with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
