Desktop Support

NTT DATA's client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite support for end users, handling tickets and issues at a client site. The technician will own the issues through resolution. This is an on‑site position and only local applicants will be considered.

• Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops, notebooks and printers.
• Possesses a well‑rounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work area.
• Uses discretion and independent judgment for non‑routine matters, primarily focusing on routine activities.
• May make policy recommendations to managers and serve as an escalation point for less experienced team members.
• May respond to calls after normal business hours as instructed by leadership.
• Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end‑user experience and takes corrective action.
• Updates and resolves tickets in a timely manner to achieve service levels.

• 2+ years of desktop support experience.

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• Solid client service skills.
• Desktop A+ or equivalent certification; additional hardware platform certifications may be required.
• Ability to perform general office tasks requiring walking and lifting of enterprise equipment.
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Travel, including overnight domestic or international trips, may be required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.

$22 to $24 per hour. Eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
