IT Manager

Job Overview

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing an organization’s technology infrastructure, ensuring systems run efficiently, securely, and align with business goals. This role manages IT staff, coordinates system upgrades, maintains networks, and implements technology solutions that support operations and growth. They are required to help all employees and subcontractors nationally and internationally.

• Manage and oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, systems
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
• Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security.
• Ensure timely resolution of helpdesk requests
• Develop and communicate standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data.
• Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems.
• Consult with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
• Research and evaluate new technologies.
• Develop and manage IT annual budget
• Negotiate contracts with and coordinate activities of hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training vendors.
• Plan and execute IT projects; system migrations, software implementations
• Collect and analyze network and memory utilization.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university and five or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• CISSP
• PMP
• NCSP (NIST Cybersecurity Professional)
• Microsoft 365 Certified:
  Fundamentals (MS-900)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external customers.
• Leadership and team management with attention to details.

• The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, hear and talk.
