Role OverviewThe Platform Expert is the main global point of contact for engines within a specific technology domain, focusing on strategic global functionality improvements, working with the Solutions Enablement team and global technology counterparts to drive new functionality.
Responsibilities- Serve as the main global point of contact for engines within the assigned technology domain.
- Maintain knowledge of platform functional environments and key systems and tools—Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Execute strategic plans for domain growth and new functionality development globally.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal and global teams (Platform Enablement, Platform Success, Platform Growth, Platform Business Operations, Domain/Product, Engineering, etc.).
- Develop complex business requirements documentation with global and regional teams.
- Coordinate and provide demonstrations of new functionality before UAT, and prepare highlight/lowlight/spotlight updates for leadership.
- Four‑year college degree and 0–2 years of functional experience.
- Experience with digital platforms and operational knowledge of platform processes.
- Quickly grasp the Ingram Micro Xvantage platform experiences (Associates, Vendor, Customer, Integration).
- Proficient verbal and written communication, ability to present to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot; highly organized and skilled in process execution.
- Experience managing projects with proven success and execution record.
- High level of critical and abstract thinking and persuasive argument presentation.
- Ability to work as a team member, partner effectively, perform duties with accuracy, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Typical base pay range: USD $56,000.00 - $89,600.00 per year. Bonuses and incentives may apply. U.S. employees receive healthcare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, 401(k) with match, disability and life insurance, and wellness benefits.
