ServiceNow ITAM Manager

Role Overview

As a Service Now ITAM Manager, you will assist clients by providing strategic guidance on how Service Now ITAM capabilities can support and enhance their business objectives. You will collaborate with clients to gather requirements and assess existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization. You will design and configure end-to-end Service Now ITAM solutions tailored to client environments, including integrations with procurement and financial systems like SAP Ariba and Oracle Financials.

your main day-to-day responsibilities will include providing direction on MID server deployment and configuration to support asset discovery, managing the implementation of HAM Pro and SAM Pro modules, ensuring accurate asset tracking through CMDB data normalization and system-to-system integrations, and guiding offshore development teams by providing technical expertise and architectural oversight throughout the design, build, and testing phases.

You will also need to manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
• 5 years of related work experience
• 4 years of Service Now implementation experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• 4 years of Service Now consulting experience to external clients at a professional services firm
• 4 years of experience in leading Service Now client design sessions, facilitating requirements workshops, and interacting with functional and/or business process area subject matter resources
• 4 years of experience designing and implementing customized reporting processes and integration components tailored to client needs
• 2 years of experience leading and coaching teams of Service Now consulting professionals
• 2 years of experience integrating Service Now with other systems using APIs
• 4 years of experience in waterfall and agile delivery models, including supporting management activities such as planning, status reporting, budgets and risk and issue logs
