Business Systems Analyst

Role Overview

Join one of eight Agile teams working collaboratively in a large-scale technology environment. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work closely with engineers, stakeholders, scrum masters, and product owners to serve as a bridge between business and technical teams. The BSA will be responsible for analysis of business needs, solution design, and testing, as well as assisting in solution design and refining user stories.

Perform analysis of business needs, lead solution design, and act as Testing Lead. Assist in solution design, refine user stories, and design, prepare, build, and execute test plans and scripts. Ensure all testing is done appropriately with specified code and functionality coverage.

The successful candidate will possess or develop technical acumen in various technologies and integration between multiple systems. They will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Combined minimum of 5 years' higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience
• Experience in user experience and research
• Experience supporting, analyzing or partnering on customer servicing applications, preferably within banking or financial services
• Familiarity with customer servicing procedures and operational workflows, particularly customer contact center environments, preferred
• Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements in a regulated or financial services environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, technology teams, and operations stakeholders
• Strong analytical, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software tools
