We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Consultant to help design, implement, and improve reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems. The SRE Consultant will work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to apply software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and resilience.

This role is typically project-based and advisory, combining hands-on technical work with strategic guidance and best-practice recommendations.

• Assess existing infrastructure, systems, and operational practices to identify reliability and scalability gaps
• Design and implement SRE best practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Improve system reliability through automation, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
• Lead or support incident management, post-mortems, and root cause analysis
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release reliability
• Build and maintain observability solutions (logging, metrics, tracing)
• Advise on cloud architecture, capacity planning, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability into the software lifecycle
• Mentor internal teams on SRE principles, tools, and operational excellence
• Provide clear documentation and recommendations to stakeholders

• Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Dev Ops, or Platform Engineering
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and distributed systems
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, etc.)
