Our client, a leading provider of technology support services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be an essential part of the service support team, delivering exceptional hardware support and technical solutions to HP's PC Products customers. Buffalo, NY Pay Range: $22.01 - $28.8/hr Must Have Printer Repair/Install Experience. What's the Job?
- Provide on-site hardware support and repair for HP PC and Printer products, including laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations.
- Configure hardware, software, and network components to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues using mechanical and technical skills, including working with third-party software, networks, and switches.
- Manage critical service events efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Educate customers about technology solutions and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional hardware technology training or college education is preferred.
- Proven experience in technical or mechanical hardware repair, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Physical ability to bend, crawl, stoop, sit, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including non-traditional workdays and holidays.
- Onsite customer-facing experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
