Lawley’s Commercial Insurance team is seeking an insurance professional with a P&C background who is looking for a path to account management. This position is also known as our Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager. We are seeking individuals who wish to be mentored by a strong service team, learn the Lawley model, and experience a supportive culture with an exemplary benefits package.
Responsibilities- Produce summaries, ordering and issuing binders, certificates, policies, policy changes, premium/loss summaries, proposals, complete coverage reviews and other insurance documents within designated timelines.
- Obtain non-marketed renewal quotes from existing carriers, complete renewal processes and handle non-renewals and cancellations for cause, validate audits.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities as appropriate.
- Expand and grow in your role by supporting miscellaneous duties as requested.
- At least one year of experience in a similar position; commercial experience preferred.
- Property & Casualty License or willingness to pursue within 90 days.
- Knowledge of insurance products, documents and usages.
- Word and Excel skills are a must;
Applied/EPIC and carrier website experience is preferred. - Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Open to continuing education; college degree preferred.
- Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion to make customers and coworkers feel valued.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently with methodical, yet swift decision-making, especially for prioritization.
- Precise communication skills, even under time constraints.

The compensation range for this position takes many factors into consideration including but not limited to years of experience/training, skill set, and licenses/designations. It is not typical to be hired near the top of the range due to varying circumstances and location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $43,642.50 to $72,737.50.
