A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Construction GL) to provide support to senior underwriting staff.
Key Responsibilities Assess loss history and financial conditions for risk cases Collect and analyze documentation to evaluate risk cases and confirm eligibility Collaborate with the underwriting team to process insurance applications and manage customer inquiries
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 1 year of underwriting or related insurance experience required CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software Willingness to work in a hybrid office environment
