Job Title:
Interpreter/Translator

Work hours:
M-F 7am - 4pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)
* OT only when client approves
Pay rate: $28-$33/hour (DOE)
Reimbursement:
Mileage for the daily commute, safety gears when needed
Main responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous/consecutive interpretation of technical documents of high complexity from Japanese to English and English to Japanese in a professional manner.
- Ensure the meaning, feeling, intent of the original and technical words are accurately transmitted without distortion, omissions or additions.
- Line-side verbal interpretation is required.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to commute to the work site every day
- Must have interpretation and translation experience in machining or general manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both in Japanese and English)
- Ability to work in a team environment.
