Civil Litigation - Associate Attorney

Tully Rinckey PLLC, a nationally recognized full-service law firm, is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate to join our Buffalo, NY office. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 2-4 years of experience to develop their litigation practice while collaborating with a team of AV-rated attorneys recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers. Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and briefs Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel Work closely with senior attorneys to prepare cases for hearings and trials

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Admission to practice law in New York State (federal admission a plus) 2+ years of civil litigation experience Strong research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to professionalism and client service Compensation & Benefits Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys at Tully Rinckey PLLC receive a starting salary of $120,000, along with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary, rewarding productivity, excellence, and client impact.
