Position: Associate Attorney

Salary: $85,000 to $125,000+

Are you dedicated to fighting for the rights of the injured? This busy bodily injury law firm is seeking ambitious, motivated attorneys who are able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills with respect to litigation from its inception to conclusion. You will handle files at all stages of the process, including any and all investigation, discovery, motion work, and whatever it takes to bring that file to conclusion (i.e.: settlement negotiation, trial, arbitration, and mediation).

You will advocate for clients in and out of court. Salary is commiserate with experience with structured bonus opportunities relating to performance. Moreover, the firm offers additional benefits, including health insurance, 401k contribution, and free parking. This is an on-site position.

Minimum Requirements for the Position:

Are you qualified? The ideal candidate should have:

• At minimum, 1-3 years of experience in bodily Injury insurance defense or tort law
• An encouraging personality that is able to effectively able to calm and reassure clients who are under duress in light of bodily injury
• Not afraid to navigate court appearances and try cases as necessary to stand up for clients who have suffered a serious injury
• Highly organized, thorough, with good communication skills and the ability to obtain the proper settlement
• Minimally admitted to practice by the New York State Bar
