Director Of Supply Chain
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for building, implementing, and leading Veradermics' commercial supply chain in preparation for the launch of the Company's first commercial pharmaceutical product. This role will establish the systems, processes, and operating model required to support commercial readiness and long-term growth.
The Director will oversee all aspects of the commercial supply chain from raw material sourcing through receipt at the third-party logistics (3PL) provider, including material planning, supply planning, demand forecast translation, purchasing, production scheduling, inventory planning, and product shipment. Working closely with Commercial and Finance, this individual will translate commercial demand forecasts into executable manufacturing and supply plans while ensuring uninterrupted product supply.
Reporting to the VP of Development & Scientific Operations, the Director will partner closely with colleagues across Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and external manufacturing and supply partners to establish clear operating processes, cross-functional governance, and scalable supply chain capabilities. As Veradermics' first senior Supply Chain leader, this individual will play a key role in shaping the future structure, processes, and growth of the Supply Chain organization.
Senior supply chain consultants will be available to provide guidance and support during the build-out of the function.
Key responsibilities include developing the long-term operating model for Supply Chain, including organizational structure, hiring roadmap, systems, and processes required to support commercial growth; partnering closely with Commercial and Finance to translate commercial demand forecasts into manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and supply plans; serving as the primary Supply Chain lead for external manufacturing and supply partners; and collaborating closely with Quality to ensure timely material disposition, product release, and supply continuity within GMP requirements.
