Job Description

Process complex shipments of goods, imported to the U S, in a manner that ensures compliance with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) regulations as required.

Transmit data electronically to CBP & PGA based on documents received from truck carriers. Interact with clients and carriers to ensure import release of the client’s goods.

  • Comfortable working with large, complex importers
  • Knowledge of Section 122 and 232 tariffs
  • File Customs release and PGA information
  • Comfortable working in a team‑focused environment
  • Self‑motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm
  • Creative thinker with competitive desire to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi‑task and make quick decisions in a fast‑paced, ever changing work environment
  • Possess a working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Possess an analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports and correspondence
  • Train new team members

Qualifications
  • Over 3 years in the US Brokerage industry preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work accurately;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong problem‑solving ability;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to prioritize work & time management skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
