Universal Logistics USA Inc is hiring for a position within the Customs Consulting Team at our Buffalo, NY office. We are a family-owned US Customs Broker that values customer service-oriented people. We are a growing company and as we grow we can offer our employees opportunities for advancement.

Job Description:
  • We are seeking a candidate to join our Customs Consulting Team to assist with post-entry functions and HS tariff classification
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing situations is a requirement
The candidate will be responsible for:
  • Data entry into our client commodity database
  • Preparation of Post-Entry Corrections and Protests
  • Communicating import requirements of various Participating Government Agencies (PGA) both internally and externally
  • Work closely with other internal staff, teams, and customers to deliver high level of service
  • Work Hours 9 am - 5 pm (3 days in office/2 days remote, once training is complete, local applicants only)
Experience:
  • US Customs Brokerage: 1 year (Required)
  • Strong communication skills – English verbal and written is required
  • Good understanding of HS Tariff Classification and US CBP requirements
