Repair Specialist – Safelite
As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist, you will utilize our industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs, championing the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude and a commitment to high quality.
Responsibilities- Learn to repair vehicle glass in the classroom and hands‑on, focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting under guidance of experienced technicians.
- Repair chips, cracks and other auto‑glass related issues on customer vehicles.
- Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication via Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology, including promotion and sale of Safelite promotional items.
- Clean customer vehicle during wait/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks in the shop.
- Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools and chemicals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Competitive weekly base pay starting at $18/hour.

- Up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement.
- Paid training and all tools and resources needed for success.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any other licenses required by law.
- Completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs; assist with windshields up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, work in tight spaces, bend, twist, use hand and power tools safely.
- Operate a motor vehicle in compliance with all laws, monitored via camera/video surveillance.
- Professional customer service, exceeding expectations.
- Work outside in varied weather, including extreme temperatures.
- Handle chemicals per Safelite Way of Fitting.
- Flexible with scheduled days and timing.
- Problem‑solving, independent and collaborative troubleshooting.
- Read, write, interpret English and technical directions.
- Speak and write orally via phone and computer.
- Maintain professional appearance per uniform and PPE policies.
- Maintain stable performance under pressure.
This position involves driving duties monitored through cameras, GPS and other tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance.
