VENDING - MACHINE SET-UP TECHNICIAN

Join the DiVal Safety Equipment team in our Buffalo, NY headquarters as a member of our fast paced and dynamic team. The focus of this position is

• Develop and optimize vending machine product layouts (planograms) based on item data and consumer demand
• Pre-kitting of product and loading into the machine coils and trays
• Ensure machines are filled, wrapped and completed on schedule to meet customer deadlines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales management, vending specialists and warehouse staff
• Refurbish and redeploy existing vending equipment
• Help with installation and set-up procedures at various customer locations, requiring some travel
• Ensure timely and accurate communication within the team
• Additional duties may be assigned within the services division to respond to fluctuating vending workload and volume
• Monitor and provide necessary reporting for DiVal leadership
• Continuously evaluate and improve vending processes

• Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor
• Must be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
• Strong organizational and time management skills a must
• Detail oriented and conscientious
• Ability to travel (approx. 20% travel)
• Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products
• High School diploma / GED equivalent, college degree preferred
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis
