Custodian

Buffalo Hearing & Speech is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Custodian to join our team. This role requires daily travel, beginning at our Amherst clinic and continuing to our North Street location in Buffalo.

Hours:

Full-time, 7 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.

• Clean, vacuum, and maintain appearance on a daily basis for bathrooms, classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, etc., as individually assigned.
• Clean and vacuum hearing booths and audiology treatment rooms.
• Empty all garbage daily.
• Refill necessary items such as soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
• Refill water coolers.
• Wipe down classroom/clinical equipment in necessary rooms such as the PT/OT room, library, playground, classrooms, evaluation rooms, etc.
• Complete recycling tasks daily (cardboard, paper, etc.).
• Ensure all end‑of‑day items are completed, such as turning off televisions, coffee pot burners and lights; activate alarm upon exit.
• Assist with necessary maintenance of grounds and buildings as needed.
• All other duties as requested by your supervisor.

Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED

• Physical actions may include bending, kneeling, standing, squatting, reaching, printing, crawling, and running.
• Vision, speech, tactile, and hearing sense adequate to perform job requirements.
