Operations Process Manager

Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Logistics Technician to join them. You will report to the Process Manager and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.

• Unpack and clean received hardware, and visually inspect hardware, complete paperwork, and notate condition as received.
• Frequent lift and bend during processing of hardware. For articles that are a heavy lift cranes and lift carts will be provided and will be utilized.
• Perform unit induction tasks following standard work documentation.
• Utilize Moog Business Systems (MBS), Moog Wide Web (MWW), and other applications required to induct hardware into the repair station.
• Coordinate daily activities in processing received hardware.
• Communicate with shop leads and repair operations to ensure daily targets are met.
• Work with engineering, quality, and customer service representatives.
• Handle emergencies and coordinate evacuations.
• Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication to all associates on the shift.
• Perform dispatch functions to support repair shop.
• When time permits, may perform tasks in the repair station (Assembly & Test).
• Daily delivery of parts to other Moog sites within the East Aurora campus utilizing the company vehicle.

Buffalo, NY $22.00–$25.00 Hourly

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
