Experienced operations and business leader needed to drive the operations team for the production and supply of highly complex and technical products for use in Nuclear Power Plants. The main goal of this position is to ensure that Mirion Technologies customers receive the highest quality products, on time, and in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Holds overall responsibility for defining and communicating the vision, mission, and operational objectives for the local operations team.
  • Accountable for overall financial performance of the operations team, focusing on revenue recognition, cost and working capital management, and cash flow objectives.
  • Acts as principal safety agent for the site to ensure a safe work culture.
  • Serves as chief Customer Advocate in resolving prioritization issues and ensuring the site delivers a positive customer experience.
  • Participates in strategic planning for the organization related to Production Operations and implementation of strategic goals.
  • Ensures production budgets, schedules, and performance standards are set and attained.
  • Participates in selection and approval of expenditures for capital equipment within budgetary and corporate guidelines.
  • Manages day‑to‑day activities of the Production Operations teams, ensuring work is done in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Partners with quality leads to embed process controls and continuous improvement, ensuring production aligns with safety, regulatory, internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Drives continuous improvement and standard work across all organizational elements using KPI metrics, balanced scorecards, and other KPI systems.
  • Develops, administers, and maintains continuous improvement and lean methodologies for areas under direct control.
  • Plans and recommends investments to drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process controls for quality.
  • Oversees inventory management to align with sales, cash flow, and financial goals.
  • Leads the sourcing team to maintain cost‑efficient material availability and meet inventory objectives.
  • Assists Human Resources in developing and executing HR programs that drive workforce motivation and employee allegiance, supporting the company’s goal of being an Employer of Choice.
  • Accounts for Communications Programs, conducting quarterly town hall meetings per company policy.
  • Promotes cross‑functional teamwork and business efficiency while maintaining superior levels of customer service.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, including Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics, and Operational Framework.
  • Promotes high standard of ethical behavior and adherence to the Group’s core values, fostering a culture of honesty and integrity.
  • Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Division Vice President.
  • Ensures all employees comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct reports from site leadership team for Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Sales, Procurement, and Quality Assurance with dotted line relationships for Finance, HR, and Information Systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including manufacturing operations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification highly desired.
