Environmental Services Manager

Lead a growing environmental team delivering high-impact public infrastructure projects across Upstate New York. My client is seeking an accomplished environmental leader to shape department strategy, guide complex environmental programs, and serve as a trusted resource to major public agencies.

• $140,000–$160,000 annual salary, based on experience, plus bonus potential

• Direct departmental operations, staffing, mentoring, workload, and performance management
• Oversee environmental studies, assessments, permitting, and design support
• Lead SEQR and NEPA compliance on complex public-sector projects
• Manage budgets, schedules, quality, profitability, and client relationships
• Drive proposals, scope development, fee estimates, and business development
• Review technical reports and conduct field investigations as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Planning, Biology, Geology, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including project and personnel management
• Strong SEQR, NEPA, and environmental permitting expertise
• PE, PG, or AICP credential preferred
• Experience in one or more of: air or water quality, ecology and wildlife biology, historic and cultural resource evaluation, Phase I/II environmental site assessments, or environmental permitting and regulatory compliance
