Position Summary

Westmatic Corporation is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to help scale a growing industrial business. With over 30 employees, Westmatic requires a new operational leader who can strengthen execution, develop people, and build the systems necessary to support continued growth while maintaining the company's entrepreneurial culture and customer-focused approach.

Reporting directly to the North American General Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee the company's core operational functions through four direct reports:
Purchasing Manager, Shop Supervisor, Project Manager, and Service Manager. Together, these teams are responsible for production, project execution, installation, service, aftermarket support, and supply chain activities.

• Lead material sourcing, assembly, project execution, installation, and service operations.
• Strengthen cross-functional coordination and accountability.
• Develop scalable processes that improve execution without creating bureaucracy.
• Implement practical management routines, performance metrics, and operating reviews.
• Improve production planning, project handoffs, installation readiness, service response, inventory management, and warranty processes.
• Help develop future supervisors and managers.
• Reduce dependency on knowledge siloes through documentation, training, and process discipline.

The ideal candidate could be a high-potential operations leader, or an existing traditional career Operations Manager. Candidates may currently hold positions such as Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Service Operations Leader, Project Operations Leader, or similar roles within manufacturing, production, industrial equipment, field service, or project-based organizations.

The successful candidate has operational experience, a hands-on and practical leadership style, enjoys building scalable systems and processes, and the confidence to lead experienced employees while maintaining a collaborative approach.

Success in this role means creating an organization that is more proactive, predictable, and scalable. The Operations Manager will establish clear ownership, strengthen management capability, improve operational visibility, and implement repeatable ways of working that allow Westmatic to take on more projects, support more customers, expand aftermarket revenue, and continue growing profitably.
