Quality Assurance Team Leader

** Qualifications/Requirements
** Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Clear and concise communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft environment including Word, Excel, Power Point is necessary.

Ability to problem solve, handle stressful situations and operate with a sense of urgency.

Knowledge of GFSI, BRC and FSMA requirements is a plus.
** Responsibilities
* * Principle accountabilities include the auditing of in-process manufacturing controls ensuring that all products are produced in compliance with Federal, State, Local and JM Smucker requirements. Support the Company and site safety policies. Acts as a role model for safe working practices.

Leads observations to promote safe working conditions.

Working to further develop your own leadership and technical skills.
** Physical Requirements
** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to ascend and descend stairways

Ability to work on elevated surfaces, maneuver and climb ladders and rail cars. Ability to be trained and qualified to use fall protection equipment while performing rail car sampling.
** Education
* * 2 years manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred.
