Rate: $24 - $25 / hour, depending on experience.
Schedule for this role:
Sunday - Thursday 7AM - 3PM
. Overtime is required when necessary.
Training: A minimum of 4 - 6 weeks Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM.

- Submitting SCARS by gathering information on non-conforming raw materials and completing the SCAR.
- Data entry to enter complaints into a system and generate the CAPA form when needed.
- Follow-up on all rework orders and their completion for returns. For compliant material that is called back, inventory it and place the material back into SAP.
- Ensures all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
- Documents, samples and quarantines non-conforming material and maintains other sample requirements as defined.
- Follows all safety policies and quality procedures.
- Conducts in-process inspections and tests verification for Quality, and Food Packaging Safety requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree is preferred with a concentration in mathematics.
- Two to five years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior 3-5 years quality lab experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment, following up on SCARS and customer complaints.
- Must possess strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and time management is required for this role.
- Strong basic math skills and be able to read a ruler and make measurements.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude.
- Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site.
