Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Production Manager
Overview
Our team is seeking to add two Maintenance Group Leaders to their growing team to help with a new initiative. The Maintenance Group Leader oversees a team of skilled union hourly workers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and adherence to union agreements, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities- Lead and support maintenance operations across multiple tasks and priorities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Drive accountability and performance through effective team leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and corporate policies
- Collaborate across departments to meet production goals
- Manage labor, inventory, and machinery usage efficiently
- Support electric and autonomous vehicle manufacturing initiatives

- 2+ years of experience managing a team in a production or manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a union environment/managing union employees
- Experience reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
- Strong people management, conflict resolution, and ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience in the automotive industry
