Maintenance Supervisor

Overview

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor 5 to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor 5, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the manufacturing of Ecotec and V8 engines.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor 5

Location: Buffalo, NY

Pay Range: $40-$45 per hour

Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial environments as Maintenance supervisor

What’s the Job?

• Establish, implement, and maintain long-term plans for maintenance activities to improve efficiency and safety.

• Manage and troubleshoot CNC equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Supervise a team of 10 to 15 leaders, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Support safety initiatives, enforce housekeeping standards, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

• Coordinate construction and maintenance projects, maintaining schedule and quality standards.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial environments as Maintenance supervisor, with supervisory assistance preferred and a total of 10 years experience.

• Associate and bachelor’s degrees are required; technical, engineering, or technology degrees are a plus.

• Experience leading teams of 10-15 people with strong interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed.
