Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary
Responsible for providing highly skilled mechanical support to manufacturing including PM's, tooling, machine repair, machining, and providing training and guidance on these tasks to 'A', 'B', and 'C' level mechanics.
Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $27.25-$36.75/hour. The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
Essential Job Functions- GED or High School Diploma
- 5-7 years mechanic experience within a manufacturing setting with advanced level skills
- Must have completed Technical/Mechanical training courses/certificates
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work in a constructive, positive manner with others in a team environment
- Basic reading, math, and direction following skills.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Ability to problem solve
- Mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and advance to higher level maintenance positions
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards, regulations, and procedures
- Through knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes specific to Nissha Medical Technologies
- General Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to operate fork truck and man‑lift equipment
- Advanced machining skills
- Advanced pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to follow directions and provide training to lower level mechanics
- Knowledge of CMMS
- Knowledge of PM programs
- Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives
- Basic engineering knowledge
- Basic continuous improvement knowledge
