** Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer
** to join our Prismatic Manufacturing Group in East Aurora, NY. This is your opportunity to join a high-impact team where innovation meets precision, and your expertise drives the development of cutting-edge aerospace components.

As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you’ll be at the forefront of both new product development and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes. You’ll work hands-on with milled parts, applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance.
** As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will:
*** Develop and optimize CNC Mill machining processes for both new and legacy components.
* Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions that meet rigorous engineering specifications.
* Define operation sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements for precision part fabrication.
* Troubleshoot shop floor issues, including tooling, gauging, work holding, and inspection challenges.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing problems and enhance producibility.
* Create detailed operation sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies.
* Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design improvements.
* Assist in the creation of machine-ready code and be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting.
* Estimate setup/run times and tooling hours; contribute to cost estimation for new business proposals.
* Mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives in processes and equipment.
** To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring:
*** A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or an Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of proven professional experience
* Proficiency in CNC Milling Machining, including multi-axis vertical or horizontal machining centers
* Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation
** It’d be great if you also had:
*** A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
* Background in the aerospace industry
* Experience with machine automation integration
* Skills in inspection of machined parts
* Hands-on experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum
* Proficiency in CNC Programming using Siemens NX
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles;
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
