About The Job
The Cultivation Technician performs labor to assist in upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing cannabis, including watering, feeding, flushing, pruning, washing, cloning, transplanting, harvesting, and facility maintenance under the supervision of the Cultivation General Manager. Attention to detail is essential.

What You Will Do
  • Perform all tasks in the indoor harvest grow.
  • Mother plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, nutrients and pH management, water management, airflow, temperature and humidity control, pest and disease control, IPM program implementation, and plant transfer from veg to flowering.
  • Manage plant scheduling and organization to project plant needs daily, weekly, and monthly to maximize yield.
  • Cataloguing and maintaining organization of plants, tags, and pruning biomass.
  • Knowledge of pest and disease control management is a plus.
  • Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures.
  • Wash and sanitize equipment; scout tools to ensure they are free of pests, viruses, or disease.
  • Adapt to various strains and styles of cannabis, adjusting techniques to maintain pace and quality.
  • Break down flowers from stems to separate unusable waste from usable product; track unusable waste per batch.
  • Knowledge or experience with METRC compliance is a plus.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to meet production standards; work efficiently to increase productivity.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the cultivation facility while performing duties.
  • Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking, and communication skills.
  • Follow basic instructions and accept constructive feedback to maintain quality standards and production goals.
  • Show up on time and maintain personal hygiene per company and state health guidelines.
  • Cultivation staff is responsible for cleaning up processing areas and equipment at the end of each shift.
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum age 21 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • May require rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Previous agricultural/warehouse/manufacturing/labor experience preferred
  • Adhere to the company mission with high ethical standards and professionalism
  • Flexible to work in various departments as needed
  • Ability to identify problems with strains/products and communicate with supervisors as needed
  • Basic understanding of cannabis laws and regulations; willingness to learn more
  • Ability to work well with others and adapt to policy changes; frequent communication with supervisors
  • Use independent judgment regarding product processing while keeping quality and goals in mind
  • Encourage a proactive, positive environment and self-motivation toward high-quality product
  • Ability to guide and motivate teammates toward a cohesive unit
  • Efficient time management to meet goals while producing quality product
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback to maintain quality and production goals
  • Understand and implement company and department rules and procedures
  • Foundational cultivation knowledge with potential for broader learning
  • Ability to analyze potential problems with plants or products
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with staff and supervisors
  • Effective listening and communication across audiences
