• Formulation of colors using Akzo Noble colorants and coatings
• Creation of new finishing techniques that are production‑friendly
• Ability to produce ceruse, painted and weathered finishes to match samples
• Produce samples to match designer’s samples with short lead times
• Research new finishing techniques
• Self‑starter and willingness to work additional hours as required
• Confirm that the correct finish is applied by checking paperwork for color and sheen and ensuring it matches the sample
• Maintain spray equipment and work with the finishing group to keep the Finishing department safe and compliant
• Handle all hazardous materials in accordance with state and federal guidelines; track materials used properly

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of furniture finishing experience

Compensation: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, with additional geographic premium, discretionary incentive, and equity awards subject to company rules.
