Junk Free Skin, a Buffalo-based leader in sustainable personal care manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to help drive innovation, efficiency, and growth in our production operations. We are first to market with plastic-free personal care products using water-soluble and compostable film technology.
Responsibilities- Improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and safety
- Design and optimize production workflows and equipment layouts
- Troubleshoot machinery and production issues
- Develop standard operating procedures and training materials
- Support new product launches and scale-up production
- Analyze data to reduce waste and increase output
- Work closely with operations, quality, and leadership teams
- Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or production engineering
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement experience is a plus
