Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Our team in the Space & Defense Group is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist III to join them. You will report to the department Performance Leader and work onsite in East Aurora, NY.

• High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English, and perform basic arithmetic.
• At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, working on lathe machines with mill capabilities.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of G‑Code preferred.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls a plus.

• Work under minimum supervision and assist in planning work and solving problems within the cell.
• Set up and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to achieve close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
• Inspect all work performed, set up or adjust gaging equipment, detect unusual conditions and deviant parts, and recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.

Buffalo, NY $28.00–$32.00 hourly

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
