Pay Range:
Starting pay ranges between $27.00 and $32.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full‑time, hourly position.

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Assembler with MIG and TIG welding experience to contribute to the production of industrial machinery and compression equipment. The role involves assembly, welding, inspection, and support of inventory and material handling activities, all while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and testing of industrial machinery and compression equipment following standard work procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, diagrams, and specifications to assemble components accurately.
  • Operate pneumatic, power, and hand tools to complete assembly, welding, wiring, and painting tasks.
  • Inspect parts and finished products to detect quality defects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Load and unload equipment using forklifts and hoists; support material handling and inventory activities.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, initiate repair work orders as needed, and ensure proper upkeep.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with all safety rules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members, support cross‑functional tasks, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) is required.
  • Familiarity with and ability to utilize hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
  • Experience with MIG & TIG welding.
  • At least 3 years of experience welding to exact ASME specifications.
  • Knowledge of proper purging techniques for stainless steels.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds from floor to waist routinely; occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies, and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.
  • Skill in operating equipment associated with the job, including power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems, with a willingness to learn.
  • Broad working knowledge of standard work instructions.
  • Team oriented and able to work cohesively with others.
  • Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
  • Able to work in a multi‑tasked environment.
Preferences
  • Additional 3+ years in manufacturing experience.
  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, precision measurement, blueprint reading, and pipe fitting.
  • Experience completing X‑ray quality work to ASME B31.3.
  • Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Dexterity for reaching and handling small parts.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical equipment, chemicals, sealants, lubricants, and weather conditions ranging from moderate cold to moderate heat.
  • Normal to occasional exposure to moderate noise levels with hearing protection where required.
Pay Range

For the full‑time, hourly position, starting pay ranges between $27.00 and $32.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
