Material Handler - Printing​/Sheeting 3rd Shift

The Material Handler position is responsible for the delivery of materials and supplies to various production machines within
the department, and cross-training on those machines to increase departmental efficiency and employee skill levels.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous operation of material moving equipment (fork truck, pallet truck, etc.) preferred
• Follow procedures, specifications and guidelines for the position
• Work at an efficient production pace meeting all production expectations
• Cross-Train in other areas as directed by the Shift Supervisor
• Be able to work overtime as requested
• Ability to communicate effectively (written or verbal)
• Have good team working skills
• Exercise accuracy in all functions of the position
• Accept levels of responsibility and accountable commensurate with the position
• Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal communications
• Positive attitude, responsible, organized, flexible & adaptable

3rd Shift Opening:
Sunday-Thursday 10:50pm - 7:00am

• Stage and move materials in coordination with the machine schedules
• Bringing raw materials to the machines
• Make deliveries of finished product to the next operation
• Take empty pallets to their proper locations for re-use
• Take process waste to the recycling area
• Aerate and jogging skids of paper as required
• Cut paper stock to size using the straight cutter when required
• Change out scrap bins as required
• Safely operate electric powered pallet mover
• Safely operate electric powered fork truck
• At the discretion of the Receiving and Production Support Supervisor, cross-train as a Press Helper to help address absences due to illness and vacations; performing the duties listed in the Press Helper Job Description
• At the discretion of the Receiving and Production Support Supervisor, cross-train as a Sheeter to help address absences due to illness and vacations; performing the duties listed in the Press Helper Job Description
• Safe operation of the jogger/aerator Machine
• Perform any additionally assigned duties as requested
