Production Utility Operator - 2nd Shift

Our product line includes gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded products, die-cut foams, and many other specific products for all kinds of sealing applications. • Arrives to work on time, as scheduled, and follows the company attendance policy
• Operates machinery safely according to company policies
• Follows job specifications as detailed on the job card
• Records start, completion of job, and materials used
• Performs first‑piece inspection and in‑process inspection in accordance with the job requirements
• Advises Lead Operator or QC of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends production until the issue is resolved; escalates to Plant Mgr. if needed
• Completes preventative maintenance on machines as required
• Maintains proper housekeeping during and at the end of work shift
• Meets or exceeds department production efficiency and productivity goals
• Cross trained to work across various departments to fill staffing and training gaps to meet production needs and deadlines
• Observes safety and security procedures

$23.00 - $25.00/HR + $1.00 shift differential

• High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 2 years of job‑specific experience
• Skilled in one or more of the following areas: CNC, Travel head, Beam Press, Handcuts/Vulc.
• Proficiency working in a computer‑supported environment with business software
• Basic math and language skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Good mechanical aptitude
