Semiconductor Equipment Technician ; Wed-Sat

Job Summary

We are looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Technician 1 (Wed‑Sat; 10:00pm‑8:30am) to work at the Amherst, NY facility. In this role you will be responsible for processing / coating ESCs for the semiconductor market, ensuring top‑quality product delivery that meets customer specifications.

• The main responsibility is to prepare the coating system, load and unload the chamber with extreme care and attention to detail.
• Set up and monitor the coating machines.
• Pre‑treat a variety of customer products using rigorous standardized methods to prepare for coating.
• Make critical processing decisions, initiate coating processes, and disassemble/reconfigure the chamber for subsequent loads.
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree (2‑year) in Electrical / Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial or Manufacturing Technology preferred.
• Equivalent hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or technical trade may be considered in place of a 2‑year degree.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
• Manufacturing / production experience.
• Good work ethics.
• Team‑oriented.
• Computer skills; ability to use MS Office.
• Required to lift 44 pounds with extreme care.
• Vacuum knowledge preferred but not required.

Estimated hourly pay range: $22 to $26 per hour. Additional incentive programs may apply.
