We are looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Technician 1 (Wed‑Sat, 10:00 pm‑8:30 am) for our Amherst, NY facility. In this role you will be responsible for processing / coating ESCs for the semiconductor market, providing top‑quality product in a timely fashion that matches the customer’s specifications and needs.

- Prepare the coating system, load and unload the chamber with extreme care and attention to detail.
- Set up and monitor the coating machines.
- Pre‑treat a variety of customer products using rigorous standardized methods to prepare products for coating.
- Make critical processing decisions, initiate coating, and disassemble/reconfigure the chamber for subsequent loads.
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree (2‑year) in Electrical / Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial or Manufacturing Technology (preferred).
- Equivalent hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or technical trade environment may be considered in place of a 2‑year degree.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Manufacturing / production experience.
- Good work ethics.
- Team‑oriented.
- Computer skills, able to utilize MS Office on the job.
- Required to lift 44 pounds with extreme care.
- Vacuum knowledge preferred but not required.

Compensation and Compensation DisclosureWe provide a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $22 to $26 per hour. Some positions may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The total compensation package includes competitive benefits starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), pet insurance, and tuition reimbursement effective day one of hire.
