Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You'll Do
  • Perform precision assembly and soldering of small electronic components under a microscope
  • Assemble, test, and inspect advanced electronic and sensor products
  • Conduct calibration, verification, and quality control checks
  • Utilize precision measuring and testing equipment, including multimeters, calipers, and micrometers
  • Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
  • Accurately document production activities and report defects or discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant workstation
  • Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures to ensure product reliability
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with soldering, electronics assembly, or precision manufacturing preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
  • Comfortable reading and following technical instructions and documentation
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications

Not required, but a plus:

  • Vocational, BOCES, technical school, or electronics training
  • Experience with microscope or fine-pitch soldering
  • Background in electronics manufacturing, sensors, medical devices, or other regulated industries
  • Experience using inspection, testing, or calibration equipment

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Employees work at individual assembly stations within structured production cells and perform highly detailed work using microscopes, precision tools, and testing equipment. An ESD-controlled environment is maintained, requiring the use of grounding equipment and protective lab apparel.

This is a Permanent position based out of Amherst, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.83 - $26.00/hr.
