What You'll Do- Perform precision assembly and soldering of small electronic components under a microscope
- Assemble, test, and inspect advanced electronic and sensor products
- Conduct calibration, verification, and quality control checks
- Utilize precision measuring and testing equipment, including multimeters, calipers, and micrometers
- Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
- Accurately document production activities and report defects or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-compliant workstation
- Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures to ensure product reliability
- Experience with soldering, electronics assembly, or precision manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Comfortable reading and following technical instructions and documentation
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Not required, but a plus:
- Vocational, BOCES, technical school, or electronics training
- Experience with microscope or fine-pitch soldering
- Background in electronics manufacturing, sensors, medical devices, or other regulated industries
- Experience using inspection, testing, or calibration equipment

This position is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Employees work at individual assembly stations within structured production cells and perform highly detailed work using microscopes, precision tools, and testing equipment. An ESD-controlled environment is maintained, requiring the use of grounding equipment and protective lab apparel.

This is a Permanent position based out of Amherst, NY.
The pay range for this position is $20.83 - $26.00/hr.
